Adrian Van Cooten MCSD is an award-winning freelance AI product designer and UX consultant based in London, UK, with over a decade of experience designing digital experiences that are people-first, playful and inclusive.

Currently AI Product Design Lead at WPP, Adrian is shaping AI-powered creative tooling and intelligent marketing workflows for global brands. He specialises in designing AI interfaces, AI-native products and human-centred AI experiences — bridging the gap between complex AI systems and intuitive, user-friendly design.

Previously an Interactive Designer at  Apple, he has worked with some of the most innovative brands, startups and creative agencies across Europe, North America and Asia. Past clients include Google, YouTube and Aesop.

A double winner of the Yuno Juno Award for UX Design (2022 and 2015), Adrian brings a fast-paced, iterative approach to AI product design, UX design, interaction design, rapid prototyping and design systems for fintech, e-commerce and enterprise products. He is an accredited member of the Chartered Society of Designers (MCSD) — the world's largest chartered body of professional designers.

Adrian will be available for freelance and contract AI product design, UX design and product strategy roles in London or remotely from June 2026.
